David is responsible for Britten Sinfonia’s artistic, strategic and business planning.
Acting Concerts Director
Kate Wyatt
Contact Kate for enquiries about orchestra engagements, fees, contracts, and advance diary planning. She plans our UK and international touring schedules.
Artistic Planning Director
Nikola White
Nikola is responsible for planning Britten Sinfonia's future projects. She researches artists for our concert work and plans our UK and international touring schedule.
Orchestra Manager
Hannah Bates (nee Tucker)
Hannah books players and manages all the practical arrangements for Britten Sinfonia concerts.
Concerts Assistant
Annabel Marsland
Annabel assists with all areas of Britten Sinfonia's concert activity and orchestral management. If you are interested in playing with Britten Sinfonia you can send your CV and covering letter to Annabel, although a response cannot always be guaranteed.
Development Director
Will Harriss
Will is responsible for all areas of the orchestra’s fundraising activities, including donations from individuals, support from trusts and foundations, and corporate sponsorships. He is also the main contact for Britten Sinfonia’s principal public funder, Arts Council England.
Development Assistant
Gabrielle Deschamps
Gaby assists Will with all areas of fundraising, and is also the main contact for the Friends of Britten Sinfonia. Contact Gaby to find out how you can support the orchestra.
Marketing Director

Claire is responsible for all areas of the orchestra's marketing and branding.
Marketing Assistant
Lisa Buckby

Creative Learning Director
Isobel Timms
Isobel deals with all aspects of Britten Sinfonia's Creative Learning programme, including Britten Sinfonia Academy, projects in schools and the community, family concerts, coaching and talent development as well as training and CPD for workplaces.
Creative Learning Assistant
James Brady
James manages Britten Sinfonia’s pre-concert talk series, Cambridge Composers Workshop, Creative Learning At Lunch projects, and other bespoke projects. James is also currently managing the application process for Opus 2013. Please contact James with any queries about any of our Creative Learning department’s work.
