The opening concert of Britten Sinfonia’s second season at Norwich Theatre Royal brings to the fore the orchestra’s virtuoso string soloists. The ever popular Four Seasons is heard in a new light when interspersed with Piazzolla’s bold reflection on Vivaldi’s work. Argentinean composer, Piazzolla has created a Four Seasons of tango bars and late night jazz clubs that is passionate and thrilling.
