Britten Sinfonia returns to Mexico following its debut in 2009 with a programme featuring Norwegian violinist Henning Kraggerud in Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and JS Bach’s A minor Violin Concerto. The programme is completed by Johan Svendsen’s Romance Op.26 and Beethoven’s String Quartet Op.95 ‘Serioso’ arranged by Mahler for strings. This is the orchestra’s first tour with Henning Kraggerud and is an exciting opportunity ahead of further work with him in autumn 2011.
