The London concert was recorded by BBC Radio 3 and will be broadcast as part of Performance on 3 on Monday 6 December at 7pm. The broadcast will be available through the BBC iPlayer until Monday 13 December.
The programme includes works by Rossini, Weber, Mozart and Ligeti, the highlight of which is Ligeti’s tour de force for soprano and orchestra, Mysteries of the Macabre.
