Family Music Day ON SALE
Our annual Family Music Day, held at West Road Concert Hall, Cambridge, is now on sale!
It’s a fantastic day of musical exploration for all the family and this year it is based on the theme of Birds.
The concert will follow the journey of our friendly bird as he migrates, and travels around the world. Whilst on his journey he will visit different countries and hear different music as well as meeting wild and wonderful winged friends, such as the Lark Ascending and the magical Firebird.
Workshops will take place throughout the day. Children can make their own bird-inspired instruments, play in a Javanese Gamelan, find out about the instruments of the orchestra, and sing and perform on the stage alongside Britten Sinfonia.
The day is most suitable for children between the ages of 5 and 11 but there will also be workshops for younger family members as well.
Our Family Music Day is extremely popular and sells out. Families are encouraged to book their tickets early to avoid disappointment.
Booking is done online in a two stage process. Purchase your tickets here: http://www.ticketsource.co.uk/brittensinfonia and after purchasing, you will be given a link to another website to choose your workshop preferences.
