New Chairman of Board of Directors
Stephen Bourne, Chief Executive of Cambridge University Press, has become Chairman of Britten Sinfonia’s Board. He succeeds Jonathan Barclay who has stepped down from the role after 10 years as Chairman. He will remain on the orchestra’s board.
Britten Sinfonia is also pleased to announce that Dr Jerome Booth has joined its Board. An economist and a co-‐founder of the emerging markets fund manager Ashmore Group plc, Jerome Booth is also a director of the Lloyds broker CBC UK Ltd, and a trustee of the Fitzwilliam Museum Development Trust.
The complete Britten Sinfonia board is: Stephen Bourne (Chairman), Charles Rawlinson (Deputy Chairman), Dr Mary Archer, Jonathan Barclay, Dr Jerome Booth, Professor Germaine Greer, Margaret Mair and John Stephens OBE.
