Britten Sinfonia Academy Course 2

Norwich
05 – 13 Nov 2016

Summary

In six intensive courses across the season, the talented young musicians in Britten Sinfonia Academy (BSA) explore different aspects of repertoire, performance and musical leadership for which our parent orchestra is renowned.

In this second course, the focus is on chamber music and contemporary repertoire including small ensemble works by Reich, Glass and Turnage in addition to workshopping brand new compositions by BSA composer members Morgan Overton and Alex Papp.

Repertoire from the course will be included in programming across the season including performances in Course 3 at the Fitzwilliam Museum and the Course 6 At Lunch concerts.
