In six intensive courses across the season, the talented young musicians in Britten Sinfonia Academy (BSA) explore different aspects of repertoire, performance and musical leadership for which our parent orchestra is renowned.
Britten Sinfonia Academy perform the closing concert of the season in Britten Sinfonia’s At Lunch series, something which has become a tradition. Course 5 will focus on repertoire for the At Lunch Four concerts in Cambridge and Norwich in July. This includes two world premieres of works composed specifically for BSA: Morgan Overton’s Goobledigook and Elena Langer’s new commission Swimming in the Limmat. Elena will oversee rehearsals and mentor both of our young composers on Saturday 25 March.
