Britten Sinfonia Academy Course 6

Cambridge
25 – 09 Jul 2017

Summary

In six intensive courses across the season, the talented young musicians in Britten Sinfonia Academy (BSA) explore different aspects of repertoire, performance and musical leadership for which our parent orchestra is renowned.

In this final course the orchestra will meet to prepare for their performances as part of Britten Sinfonia’s At Lunch series in Norwich and Cambridge in July. They will be working on two new commissions, by Elena Langer and orchestra member Morgan Overton. In addition to this they will work on Dvorak Czech Suite and will revive Glass Music in Similar Motion for their debut performance at the Walthamstow Garden Party in London.
