Ed Vere’s vivid children’s book comes alive in this delightful piece of music theatre, with live music performed by Britten Sinfonia.

Max is a kitten, a brave and fearless kitten in search of a mouse. But in order to be a mouse-catcher, Max needs to know what a mouse is. Join author and illustrator Ed Vere and Britten Sinfonia as they take you on an exciting and unexpected musical journey: the ‘purr-fect’ way to introduce the young and their families to classical music.

Featuring dynamic choreographed performances and storytelling from the musicians of Britten Sinfonia, Max the Brave brings the world of Ed Vere’s beloved children’s picture book to life through music, live-illustration and audience interaction.
