Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho

Summary

Who among us doesn’t remember Psycho’s famous shower scene? Norman Bates’ (Anthony Perkins) knife pounds to the rhythm of the string dissonances imagined by Bernard Hermmann. In 1960, two years after Vertigo, this new collaboration between the composer and the master of suspense is without a doubt their greatest shared success. The film is screened with the score performed live by Britten Sinfonia.
