He joins Britten Sinfonia and young star horn player Ben Goldscheider in Britten’s iconic Serenade.
Goldscheider plays the solo part in the new horn concerto written for him by composer and pianist Huw Watkins, one of the orchestra’s closest collaborators.
Britten Sinfonia is at full force in Judith Weir’s energetic piece inspired by a Paul Klee painting and in Mozart’s life-affirming and uplifting symphony.
