We warmly invite friends, family and the wider community to our celebratory concert, a chance for workshop participants to share the music they've created alongside a 12-piece orchestra of Britten Sinfonia musicians.

Thetford Music Café is coming to the end of a four-week series of inspiring workshops led by violinist Caroline Speca, featuring musicians from Britten Sinfonia and young people from Thetford Academy.

Together, we’ve explored a wide range of musical styles, shared stories, enjoyed singing, and co-created two brand-new pieces of music.

Composer Raph Clarkson has arranged these new works for a 12-piece orchestra of Britten Sinfonia musicians, who will perform them in a special concert at Thetford Academy Auditorium at 11:30am on Wednesday 12 November. The programme will also include music performed during the workshops, alongside well-known film and classical favourites.

Join us to celebrate creativity, collaboration, and the power of music in our community!
