Josephine Stephenson - Musically Gifted - Britten Sinfonia - Support our work

Josephine Stephenson

Josephine Stephenson is a Franco-British musician based in London. She studied music at Clare College, Cambridge, studying composition with Giles Swayne, before completing a Masters in Composition at the Royal College of Music under Kenneth Hesketh, graduating with a Distinction in 2014.

Josephine is an accomplished composer, and has written music for ensembles and soloists including The Hermes Experiment, the Ensemble Miroirs Étendus, the Britten-Pears Contemporary Ensemble and many others. Her music has also been commissioned by many prestigious organisations such as the BBC and Radio France, and we are proud to be another celebrated ensemble to commission her music too.

Britten Sinfonia Academy will premiere a new work of Josephine’s in the At Lunch Four concert series in July, in Cambridge on Tuesday 16 July, and Norwich on Thursday 18 July.

From as little as £10 you can help support the creation and performances of this new work and get your name in the score.

Britten Sinfonia is registered with the Fundraising Regulator, and supports their code of being legal, open, honest and respectful in all our fundraising practices.
