Laurence Osborn (b. 1989) is a British composer currently based in London, where he is studying for a PhD in Composition at King’s College London, supervised by Sir George Benjamin.
Laurence’s music has been commissioned and/or programmed by many prestigious musical establishments such as the London Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, The Riot Ensemble and many more. Projects for 2019 include commissions from Britten Sinfonia, the New London Chamber Choir, and pianist Zubin Kanga. Read more about Laurence here. Britten Sinfonia will premiere Laurence’s new work in At Lunch One in October 2019, in Cambridge, London and Norwich, with celebrated harpsichordist Mahan Esfahani.
