Music, animation, storytelling… and circus, in an enchanting family concert.
Join circus artist Jordan Morton-Trowers, presenter Lucy Drever and musicians from Britten Sinfonia in this family concert featuring an adaptation of the book Leon and the Place Between, written by Angela McAllister and illustrated by Grahame Baker-Smith, with music by Paul Rissmann and animations by Victor Craven.
Wanting to prove to his brothers and sister that magic really exists, Leon volunteers to be in Abdul Kazam's magic show and gets transported to a mysterious world, the “Place Between”. Filled with rabbits, doves, playing cards and magician's assistants - among other things - if a magician can make it disappear, it will end up there!
Suitable for all, and aimed especially at 4-11 year olds.
