Britten Sinfonia is looking for a creative and organised individual to join the Learning & Participation department and deliver a varied programme of community, health, and wellbeing projects across the East of England.
Our acclaimed Learning & Participation programme aims to inspire people of all ages with unique and high-quality musical experiences, bringing communities together to improve wellbeing and empowering local people to generate their own creative ideas.
You will be joining the team at an important time for the organisation as we continue to grow our community residency programme, Music on Your Doorstep, investing in our family concerts programmes and engaging with primary healthcare settings across the region.
You will work closely with the Learning & Participation Director to design and implement programmes with a range of cultural partners such as CUH Addenbrookes, Bury Friendly Orchestra, Ely Arts Festival and Orchestras Live. You will also work with leading workshop facilitators, presenters, and chamber musicians from the orchestra. You will also work alongside another full-time Learning & Participation Coordinator who is overseeing programmes for schools, young peoples and composers.
We hope this temporary role will kickstart a number of projects we are hoping to deliver as we deepen our connection with communities across the East of England.
