CEO and Artistic Director
Meurig is responsible for Britten Sinfonia's artistic, strategic and business planning.
Hannah Bates
Concerts and Personnel Director (part-time)
Hannah is responsible for booking players for Britten Sinfonia’s concerts.
Annabel Leakey
Concerts and Planning Manager (part time)
Annabel and Hazel are responsible for delivering all aspects of Britten Sinfonia orchestral production in the UK, and abroad.
Hazel Shah
Concerts and Projects Manager (maternity leave)
Hazel and Annabel are responsible for delivering all aspects of Britten Sinfonia orchestral production in the UK, and abroad.
Phoebe Snook
Concerts and Projects Manager (Maternity Cover)
Phoebe is responsible for delivering all aspects of Britten Sinfonia orchestral production in the UK and abroad, and oversees auditions.
Alice Reeves
Orchestra Assistant
Alice looks after the music library and assists the delivery of Britten Sinfonia concert and tours.
Chris Bell
Learning and Participation Director
Chris leads on Britten Sinfonia’s Learning & Participation activity, working on projects in community settings, prisons, schools, hospitals, and with people living with dementia.
Faye Milbourn
Learning and Participation Manager (Community, Health & Wellbeing)
Faye manages Britten Sinfonia’s Learning & Participation programme, working on projects in community settings, hospitals, and with people living with dementia.
Lauren Cross
Learning & Participation Programme Assistant
Lauren looks after L&P projects centred around young people and schools.
Nick Brealey
Development Director
Nick is responsible for all areas of the orchestra's fundraising activity, including donations from individuals, support from trusts and foundations, and corporate sponsorship.
Shoël Stadlen
Marketing and Communications Director
Shoël leads the marketing and communications work of Britten Sinfonia, working with venues and partners to bring the orchestra's work to as many people as possible.
Hannah Williams-Brown
Development and Marketing Coordinator
Hannah works across Development and Marketing. She coordinates Supporter's receptions and events, looks after the member database, and runs the orchestra's social media.
Elaine Rust
Finance Manager (part time)
