MUSIC ON YOUR DOORSTEP
As part of our mission to enrich the cultural lives of communities across the East of England, our Music On Your Doorstep residencies bring Britten Sinfonia musicians into culturally under-served parts of the region for performances, interactive workshops and activities for all ages.
Music On Your Doorsteps events include Pushchair Playlists for parents and their 0 - 5s, introductions to instruments for older children, interactive music-making sessions for people living with life-limiting conditions, and short concerts.
We have run pilot Music On Your Doorstep events in Bourne (Lincolnshire), Ely (Cambridgeshire), Diss (Norfolk), Peterborough (Cambridgeshire) and Stowmarket (Suffolk). If you are interested in bringing us to your area, please get in touch.
Pushchair Playlists
Pushchair Playlist is a relaxed musical experience for parents, carers, and children aged 0-5, using singing, playing and movement to help children learn important social skills, including listening and following instructions.
Adults can enjoy an informal performance, introducing their little ones to classical music and learning songs which they can sing at home.
