SIMON COUZENS
Sub-Principal Bassoon
Simon is Sub-Principal Bassoon of the Britten Sinfonia; and Co-Principal Bassoon of the Orchestra of English National Opera, where Simon has been a member since 1997.
Simon was born in Brighton; read Music at Jesus College, Cambridge; and studied bassoon with Ian Cuthill, at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
As a student, Simon was Principal Bassoon of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.
